CASA S.VINCENTE DE FORA | S. VINCENTE DE FORA HOUSE

Edificado com construção original pombalina do principio de séc XIX. Construção com diversa patologias na sua estrutura  de madeira em sistema gaiola. A intervenção permitiu a reabilitação dessa estrutura segundo técnicas e métricas antigas devolvendo-a ao seu estado original. Programa que obrigava a implementação de uma tipologia com um quarto, proporcionou a construção de um sistema de painéis que se movem permitindo a construção de novas realidades interiores.

Este sistema de portadas que deslizam, organizam e estruturam o espaço permitindo a permanência de vários utilizadores com o controlo e separação das partes sociais e independentes. Um exercício ardiloso em 25 m2. A reciclagem dos mosaicos hidráulicos, alguma da estrutura existente e do pavimento, conjugados com a introdução de novas madeiras e superfícies pintadas de branco permitiu o redesenhar do habitar mantendo os traços da história da sua localização e construção.

Building with original Pombal era construction, in the beginning of the XIX century. Construction with many pathologies in its wooden structure. The intervention allowed the rehabilitation of that structure following old techniques and guidelines, returning it to its original state. A program which obligated the implementation of a tipology with one bedroom originated the construction of a movable pannel system, allowing the assembly of new interior realities.

This system of sliding pannels organize and structure the space, making it possible for the users to control and separate the social and the independent areas. A tricky exercise in 25 sqm. The recylcing of hydraulic mosaics, part of the existing structure and of the floor, paired with the introduction of new types of wood and white painted surfaces allowed the redesing of the home while maintaining features of its history, location and construction.
