CASA DA CEREJA | CHERRY HOUSE

A Casa da Cereja é na sua essência, um espaço construído em torno das memorias e saberes tradicionais em torno deste fruto tão apreciado. Com a reabilitação de uma antiga escola do plano dos centenários de tipologia de 4 salas permitiu o explanar do projecto expositivo. 
Com a introdução de uma nova "pele" interior e amovível, será possível a sua transformação e adaptação a futuras mutações do projecto expositivo. Esta nova pele vive das preexistências da estrutura de suporte do soalho e da cobertura em asnas e forro de madeira. Tal como uma escada que se lança para a cerejeira, esta apropriação permitirá o visitante navegar num novo mundo.

Casa da Cereja is, in essence, a space built around the memories and traditional knowledge around this much appreciated fruit. With the rehabilitation of an old school of the four-room centenary plan, it allowed the explanation of the exhibition project.
With the introduction of a new removable inner "skin", it will be possible to transform and adapt it to future mutations of the exhibition project. This new skin lives on the preexistence of the floor support structure and the roof in trusses and wooden lining. Like a stairway to the cherry tree, this appropriation will allow the visitor to navigate a new world.
